In the ongoing conflict between Israel and Palestinians, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) carried out demolitions in the West Bank on December 2, 2025. The military operation targeted two residential properties in Nablus and Aqaba, which the IDF claims belonged to individuals involved in attacks against Israel. Abed al-Karim Snober's home in Nablus allegedly hosted significant illegal activity, with the IDF linking him to a botched bus bombing incident earlier this year, in which thankfully there were no casualties. On the other hand, Ayman Ghanem, whose home was destroyed in Aqaba, is said to have executed a shooting attack in the Jordan Valley in August 2024, further escalating tensions in the region.
