Additionally, flights to Reykjavik, Iceland will also commence from Seattle from May 28, 2026, with prices starting at $699. In total, Alaska Airlines will serve these routes using widebody 787 Dreamliners painted in Northern Lights-inspired liveries for the London and Rome flights, while their flights to Reykjavik will utilize 737-8 Max aircraft designed specifically for longer ranges. This service will place Alaska Airlines in direct competition with major carriers like British Airways, Delta, and Virgin Atlantic, especially on the London route to Heathrow Airport.
