In June 2026, Ukraine announced a significant increase in its defense and security budget, raising it to a record Hr.4.4 trillion ($97.6 billion). This decision was made by Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko, who expressed gratitude to parliament members for their support in amending the state budget.
