On Monday afternoon, a tragic car crash occurred on Highway 83 in Douglas County, Colorado, where five individuals, including three children, lost their lives. The collision took place at approximately 4:39 p.m., near milepost 40.5, involving a stolen black Toyota hatchback and a tan Ford sedan, alongside a black Ford pickup. Initial investigations by the Colorado State Patrol revealed that the driver of the Toyota, a 31-year-old man from Denver, lost control of the vehicle, causing it to roll into oncoming traffic. The driver was reportedly ejected from the car upon rolling, leading to a head-on collision with the Ford sedan which was carrying an adult driver and five young passengers. Tragically, the adult and three children were pronounced dead at the scene, while two others were transported to a medical facility with serious injuries.
