Concerns regarding pay disparities with DHL workers at London Gatwick Airport, who earn approximately £3 more per hour for similar roles, fueled the workers' dissatisfaction. The improved offer resulted from negotiations involving DHL and the Acas conciliation service, aimed at addressing the concerns of staff members. Jeff Hodge, a regional officer with Unite, expressed optimism about the situation, emphasizing the need to allow members to consider the new proposal before taking further action.
