In October 2027, Royal Caribbean will launch its first private beach club in the South Pacific, located on Lelepa Island in Vanuatu. This new venture is significant as it represents the cruise line's first exclusive island experience in the southern hemisphere. Unlike its other private beach clubs, such as those in the Caribbean, entry to the Royal Beach Club Lelepa will be complimentary for all cruise passengers without the need for a day pass. The opening will coincide with the cruise line's South Pacific itineraries from Sydney and Brisbane, expanding their offerings for vacationers wanting to explore this scenic region. The Royal Beach Club Lelepa is designed to cater to diverse preferences, featuring two beautiful beaches: one designated for family activities and another as an adults-only retreat. The club will offer a wide array of activities including sunbathing, hiking along scenic trails, and snorkeling in clear waters, providing guests with opportunities to relax and enjoy nature. To enhance the experience, there will be ten bars and numerous dining options available on-site, ensuring that guests can indulge in refreshments and meals by the beach. Next year, Royal Caribbean plans to operate two vessels in the region, including the Anthem of the Seas and the Voyager of the Seas, which will provide opportunities for short getaways and longer vacations. Royal Caribbean has a history of developing private beach clubs, having opened its first club in the Caribbean in December. They are also planning to launch similar venues in Santorini and Cozumel, Mexico in the near future.
