As tensions rise in the Middle East, several airlines have begun suspending flights to and from Israel, Jordan, and Lebanon. Wizz Air has announced a complete suspension of its services to Israel and Jordan, citing the deteriorating situation in the region. Flights from Luton to Tel Aviv, Israel's main airport, are currently halted, along with various routes from Continental Europe. In contrast, El Al continues its operations without interruption, while British Airways maintains its flights from London Heathrow to Tel Aviv via Larnaca, Cyprus. Ryanair is also operating flights to and from Tel Aviv but is closely monitoring the situation. In Jordan, Austrian Airlines and United Airlines have canceled their flights from Vienna and Washington DC, respectively. However, Royal Jordanian and British Airways are still providing services to and from London. Turkish Airlines continues its flights from Istanbul, while Wizz Air remains grounded. In addition to these developments, Transavia and Air France have suspended flights from Paris, and Lufthansa has canceled its service from Frankfurt. Middle East Airlines is still operating flights between London Heathrow and Beirut. The UK Foreign Office has issued warnings against travel to Lebanon, advising those currently in the country to leave while commercial options are still available. Although travel to Israel is also discouraged, the Foreign Office has not yet urged British citizens to evacuate, cautioning that Beirut airport may close, potentially stranding travelers.
