In an effort to enhance innovation within the energy sector, Ireland's Electricity Supply Board (ESB) has entered into a three-year partnership with the UK-based accelerator, IoT Tribe. The collaboration, announced recently, will focus on ESB's flagship project, X_Potential, which aims to accelerate the development of innovative solutions that align with the company’s commitment to achieving Net Zero by 2040. Through this partnership, IoT Tribe will leverage its experience in building impactful programs to help ESB foster new ventures capable of transforming energy services. ESB, which has long been dedicated to modernizing its operations, recognizes the urgent need to adapt amidst the rapidly changing energy landscape. By collaborating with IoT Tribe, ESB aims to solidify its strategies around three main pillars: decarbonising the electricity system, building resilient infrastructure, and empowering customers. Tanya Suarez, the founder and CEO of IoT Tribe, expressed her enthusiasm for the partnership, highlighting the synergies created through the collaboration. The newly formed team will be based at Trinity College Dublin's innovation hub, which was inaugurated last November.
