Lebanon is currently facing a severe humanitarian crisis as a result of a recent war involving the United States and Israel against Iran. As of March 10, 2026, more than 750,000 individuals have been displaced, marking a substantial rise in just 12 days since the conflict escalated. The Lebanese government reported that there was an increase of 100,000 displaced individuals in a single day, reflecting the rapid deterioration of the situation. Most of the displaced people are from the southern region of Lebanon, which has been heavily affected by Israeli military strikes. Civilians are suffering tremendously, with a high number of casualties reported, including deaths of children according to UNICEF.
