In Singapore, Japanese-Italian restaurant Terra Tokyo Italian is set to close its doors on December 20, 2025, just four months after losing its Michelin star in the 2025 Michelin Guide. Established in 2015 on Tras Street, the restaurant has faced a tumultuous history with the Michelin ratings, initially earning a star in the first guide of 2016, losing it in 2017, and subsequently regaining it in 2019 under Chef Melvin Chou, who left the restaurant in January 2025. The resignation of several chefs and market challenges contributed to the restaurant's declining status.
