Frank and Anne Beaumont, a couple from Meltham, Yorkshire, passed away within a day of each other, having been married for 68 years. Their son, Ian, believes that Anne's death was due to a broken heart after receiving distressing news about Frank's declining health. Frank had been suffering from dementia for five years, and while the family anticipated his passing, they were shocked by Anne's sudden death. She was in good health until that point. The couple was known for their deep bond, often described as inseparable. They shared a life filled with love, community involvement, and mutual support. Frank was an active individual who played football for most of his life, with Anne always by his side to cheer him on. Their commitment to each other and their community made them well-regarded among friends and neighbors. Ian reflected on their lives, noting that they lived life to the fullest, traveling the world and making time for family and friends. He described his father as a mix of humor and seriousness, while his mother was devoted and supportive. Their family, including Ian, Jill, and the late Neil, along with their grandchildren and great-grandchildren, will cherish the countless happy memories they created together. A celebration of their lives is scheduled for September 30 at St David's Church in Holmbridge, Holmfirth, followed by a private family committal. The bittersweet nature of their passing brings comfort to the family, knowing that Frank and Anne are together once more, just as they always were.
